TURBRO Neighborhood HPG48A Outdoor Heated Pet Pad – Waterproof Self-Inflating Electric Heating Mat for Dogs & Cats
Product Overview
Give your pets a cozy, comfortable place to relax during colder weather with the TURBRO Neighborhood HPG48A Outdoor Heated Pet Pad. Designed for larger dogs, multi-pet households, and animals that need a little extra warmth, this generously sized heating mat combines thermostatically controlled heating, a soft removable cover, and an innovative self-inflating design for everyday comfort.
Whether your pet enjoys resting in the living room, garage, enclosed porch, or a properly sheltered outdoor space, the HPG48A provides a convenient heated resting surface. Its IP67-rated water-resistant construction makes it suitable for approved outdoor applications, including covered patios, dog houses, kennels, barns, and sheds.
Unlike conventional heating pads that may feel continuously hot, this pet heating mat is designed to provide gentle, controlled warmth. Its thermostatic heating system regulates the temperature, and the warming effect becomes more noticeable when your pet is resting directly on the pad. This helps create a comfortable sleeping environment without relying on excessive surface heat.
The upgraded dual-layer cover features an ultra-soft crystal fabric sleeping surface that feels smooth against your pet's coat while helping reduce hair buildup. On the underside, silicone grip dots provide additional stability, helping keep the pad positioned on suitable flooring.
For enhanced comfort, the HPG48A features a self-inflating interior that expands after opening the air valve. Simply lay the pad flat, allow it to inflate, and close the valve according to the manufacturer's instructions. The cushioned design creates a softer resting surface without requiring an air pump or additional tools.
Thoughtfully constructed with a waterproof PVC layer, flame-retardant knit material, a UL-certified heating wire, and a chew-resistant power cord, this pet heating pad brings together practical protective features and convenient everyday use. Its removable, machine-washable cover also makes maintenance simple.

Gentle Warmth Designed for Your Pet's Comfort
The HPG48A uses thermostatically controlled heating to provide a comfortable warming surface for pets. The pad may feel only mildly warm when it is not occupied, which is a normal characteristic of its heating design.
When your pet lies on the mat, the heating effect becomes more noticeable as warmth is retained beneath the animal. This makes the pad a practical option for pets that enjoy a warm resting area during colder months.
The pad may be especially appealing for older pets, nursing mothers, young animals, or pets recovering from illness. However, animals that cannot move away from heat independently or have reduced temperature sensitivity should use heated products only with appropriate veterinary guidance and supervision.
Extra Comfort with Self-Inflating Cushion Technology
More than an ordinary electric heating mat, the TURBRO HPG48A features a self-inflating design that creates a cushioned resting surface without additional equipment.
The integrated air valve allows the interior to expand naturally when opened, making setup simple and convenient. When it is time to store the pad, the air can be released so the cushion can be rolled into a more compact form.
How to Set Up the Self-Inflating Pet Pad
- Remove the Fabric Cover: Carefully remove the outer cover to access the air valve.
- Open the Air Valve: Allow air to enter the self-inflating interior.
- Lay the Pad Flat: Place the pad on a clean, level surface and allow several minutes for it to expand.
- Close the Valve: Secure the air valve according to the manufacturer's instructions before use.
- Replace the Cover: Refit the soft fabric cover and position the pad in an approved location.
Convenient Roll-Up Storage
When the heating pad is not in use, unplug it and allow it to cool completely. Open the air valve, then gently roll the pad starting from the end opposite the valve to release trapped air. Close the valve once the air has been expelled, and store the pad according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Designed for a variety of pet resting areas, the TURBRO HPG48A offers flexible placement options for households with indoor and outdoor animals.
- Living Rooms: Creates a comfortable heated resting area for dogs and cats.
- Garages: Provides supplemental warmth in appropriate sheltered spaces.
- Dog Houses & Kennels: Suitable for compatible installations that follow the manufacturer's electrical safety requirements.

Easy Cleaning & Maintenance
The upgraded crystal fabric cover helps minimize pet hair buildup and is removable for convenient machine washing. Its brown finish also helps conceal everyday dirt between cleanings.
Always disconnect the heating pad from electricity before cleaning. Remove the outer cover and follow the manufacturer's washing instructions. Do not machine wash or immerse the electrical heating assembly unless the manufacturer specifically permits it. Allow all cleaned components to dry completely before reconnecting power.
Important Safety & Operating Information
Although the heating pad features IP67-rated water-resistant construction, it should not be submerged in water. Keep plugs, outlets, controllers, and electrical connections protected from moisture and follow the manufacturer's instructions for outdoor placement.
Inspect the power cord and pad regularly for damage. Do not use the product if the heating surface, cord, or electrical connection is damaged. Avoid folding or tightly compressing the pad while it is operating.
Always allow pets to move freely away from the heated surface. Monitor use with puppies, elderly animals, sick pets, or animals with reduced mobility or temperature sensitivity. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe placement and operation.
