Dual-Fuel Performance – Gasoline or Propane
Choose the fuel source that best matches your power requirements, travel plans, and fuel availability. The ERAYAK 4500PDM delivers different output ratings depending on the selected fuel.
| Fuel Type | Peak Output | Running Output |
|---|---|---|
| Gasoline | 4,500W | 3,500W |
| Propane (LPG) | 4,050W | 3,150W |
Gasoline Operation: Provides the highest available power output, making it a practical choice for portable tools, compatible RV appliances, and selected emergency power needs.
Propane Operation: Offers an alternative fuel source for camping, RV travel, and backup preparation. Propane can be stored separately from the generator in an appropriate cylinder.
Automatic Fuel Switchover: When propane pressure drops below the required operating level, the generator is designed to transition to gasoline when usable gasoline is available and operating conditions permit. Always monitor connected loads and fuel levels.
Important: The ERAYAK 4500PDM operates on gasoline and propane only. It does not support natural gas. Peak wattage is temporary and must not be treated as continuous output.
120V Power Connections & RV Compatibility
Designed for versatile portable electricity, the ERAYAK 4500PDM provides convenient AC outlets and charging connections for compatible equipment.
- 120V 30A NEMA L5-30R: One locking receptacle for compatible high-current electrical equipment and RV connections.
- Dual 120V 20A Outlets: Two household-style receptacles for compatible appliances, chargers, lighting, and tools.

Power Planning Note: These are illustrative estimates, not guaranteed appliance specifications. Some equipment near the generator's peak output may not start successfully, especially when other loads are connected. Verify actual appliance running wattage, starting surge, voltage requirements, and total electrical load before operation. Heating appliance figures represent maximum input rather than motor starting surge.
Manual Recoil Starting
The ERAYAK 4500PDM features a straightforward manual recoil starting system. Unlike the ERAYAK 4500PDE, this model does not include electric or remote starting.
Prepare the selected fuel system, follow the manufacturer's choke and fuel-control procedures, and start the engine using the recoil starter. Allow the generator to stabilize before gradually connecting electrical loads.
Gasoline & Propane Runtime
The 4500PDM offers practical runtime for RV camping, portable electricity, and selected emergency applications.
| Fuel Source | Electrical Load | Published Runtime |
|---|---|---|
| Gasoline – 2.25 Gallon Tank | 25% | Up to 12 Hours |
| Gasoline – 2.25 Gallon Tank | 50% | Up to 8 Hours |
| Propane – 20 lb Tank | 25% | Up to 12 Hours |
| Propane – 20 lb Tank | 50% | Up to 8 Hours |

Connect Your RV the Right Way.
The included L5-30P to TT-30R adapter allows a compatible 30A RV power cord to connect to the generator's 120V L5-30R locking outlet.
Prepare Your Fuel
Choose gasoline or propane and prepare the fuel system according to the owner's manual. If relying on automatic propane-to-gasoline switchover, make sure usable gasoline is available in the tank.
Connect Your RV Adapter
With the generator stopped and RV electrical loads off, insert the included L5-30P to TT-30R adapter into the generator's L5-30R outlet. Connect a compatible 30A RV power cord.
Start & Manage Loads
Start the generator using the manual recoil procedure. Allow electrical output to stabilize, then add RV loads gradually. Stay within the selected fuel's continuous power rating.
RV Compatibility: The L5-30P to TT-30R adapter is intended for compatible 120V 30A RV connections. It does not create 240V output, provide full 50A RV service or increase the generator's available electrical power. RV air conditioner compatibility depends on compressor starting surge and total connected load.
Operate the generator outdoors only, at least 20 ft from doors, windows and vents, with exhaust directed away from occupied buildings. Never operate inside an RV, tent, house, garage, shed or any enclosed or partially enclosed space. Use working carbon monoxide alarms inside occupied areas. Keep the generator dry and do not operate in rain, standing water or flooding. Connect propane cylinders, hoses and regulators according to the owner's manual. Check all fuel connections for leaks using approved methods. Never refuel gasoline while the generator is running or hot. Use appropriately rated cords, adapters and electrical connections. Never backfeed household wiring through a wall outlet. Disconnect or turn off connected loads before shutdown. Always follow the current ERAYAK owner's manual and applicable electrical and fuel safety requirements.
